Photographer, Amber Bauerle of Frosted Productions shares her latest photography, specializing in commercial, editorial and fashion photography.
Thanks for visiting my photography blog! I attempt to keep up to date on it, and have felt more motivated lately... so hopefully will be current eventually. This is a new blog since 2012, thought I would migrate my old posts over, but let's be honest, I don't think it will ever happen - so for now, enjoy my latest (and hopefully greatest). I usually write late at night, so please excuse my punctuality, sometimes I have something to say about a shoot, and other times I'm falling asleep, it's random, but at least you get to see the photos. I'm the only photographer and editor of Frosted Productions (get asked that a lot) - I will have admins help post photos, but I'm the one that always writes the posts - feel free to comment - I love to hear from others. xoxo

Tulips, tulips, tulips!!! There is nothing like the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point and there is nothing like cute little babes… had so much fun shooting there sweet faces for Persnickety’s Layette 13 collection… makes me miss Spring as it starting to get cold where I’m at. Looking forward to going to Miami for Child Model Magazine in January to get some warm weather.
An editorial for Child Model Magazine from earlier this year, I am in love with the soft, balletic feel of this shoot. I have always been enchanted by music boxes, when you open them up they can give you a feeling that almost takes you back to your childhood, or possibly a magical place inside of yourself.
Fishing poles, magical pond, fog, moss, hot air balloons…. I was so excited to shoot Norwegian Fashion Designer, Jumina’s SS13 Collection, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE their fashion. This shoot took more time than probably any other shoot, it was crazy to get everything setup, I think my husband was hanging the material for 20 hours. I invited Koko Blush to collaborate with me on this, which helped share the work and always ensures amazing props and ideas as well, but no matter what, doing a set always seems to take 10 times the amount of time than what I initially think. I had Charisse Miller and Lisa Frehner do hair and makeup, I had gone to get the hair supplies prior to the shoot, and really like how it all turned out, I had wanted to use the blue feather balls for a while. I was trying to make the photo shoot, whimsical, abstract and different, I think it came together. ;)
And for the second part of this post…. “sigh” just love these two, and these candid photos just speak to their fun and sweet connection. Jared is actually the Producer of “Studio C” – heard of it? And Lindsey is an AMAZING fashion stylist, you can check her website here: http://lindseyshores.com/
If you missed the two photos to music videos that I posted in their first post, check them out below, and you can see their other engagement shoots previous to this one, part 1 and then a studio shoot they did. I know many of my followers have probably seen photos from these shoots already, but I was trying to get the photos on my blog since I never had posted them.
Soooo I had to split this post into two posts because, yes, there are that many photos. I could not handle how many great photos came out of this shoot, and it’s so crazy, we just went to a field and hung out – I really try to make photo shoots feel candid and comfortable, in order to do that we do a lot of talking and get to know each other while I snap my camera – over and over and over. When getting candid photos, you have to take TONS in order to capture that perfect moment. It’s not uncommon that I have 1000 – 1500 photo proofs after an engagement shoot. And can you BELIEVE these FAll Colors??? Amazing.
Again, as I mentioned in the previous engagement photography post about this couple (their black and white studio photo shoot), I did this shoot a while ago but put the photos on my site, not blog, then re-did my site, anyway – had to get them on my blog, so here they are. Oh and here are a couple of videos I put together with their photos, I LOVE putting music to photos, it just makes you “feel” that you were there… take a look at these and comment, tell me if you like photos to music.

fashion photography for Mole Little Norway and Child Model Magazine
A little sneak peek from a shoot I did in Atlanta for Child Model Magazine this past weekend. I had so much fun, I love them and their sister company Teen Model Magazine SO, SO much! I travel around the country shooting for them and have a great time. And if you haven’t checked out Mole from Norway – their fashion is amazing.
I have been doing tons of commercial photography lately, shoot after shoot after shoot…. I’m exhausted. I do love it, but it is very high stress…I shot Jumina’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection, not posting the photos now, but here is a video of some of the photos! Thanks to Koko Blush for helping make the shoot happen!
This shoot by far took the most time in prepping as far as set building, my hubby and I about lost it putting it all together…. thanks to him for always being so supportive and helping bring my photography dreams to life.
